Chinese search giant Baidu has announced production of the revolutionary "clever" bicycle Dubike. During its creation, lots of cutting-edge technologies were implemented.

Among other characteristics, non-motorized Dubike is equipped with regenerative electric technology. This futuristic bicycle was developed by Baidu in collaboration with the Industrial Design department at Tsinghua University. The vehicle is able to generate its own «power» using a platform turning kinetic energy into electricity that allows to charge your mobile phone while you are treadling. Dubike is also equipped with «clever fitness technology» which allows to record and analyze varied data having concern with your performance. For example, the bicycle determines heart rate, velocity and foot pressure via integrated sensors that can be connected via Bluetooth to smartphone applications.
Relying on the information obtained, Dubike can control statistics, trace your location in the real time, offer the best routes to your destinations depending on your habits and recommend fitness programs via social networks.
