Our lead immuno-oncology product candidate, APX005M, is a humanized monoclonal antibody that activates and amplifies both innate and adaptive immune responses to fight cancer. The onset of cancer is generally associated with profound suppression of the immune system and of the body’s ability to mount an effective anti-tumor response. APX005M is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of solid tumors.
APXiMAB™, Apexigen’s proprietary antibody discovery platform, enables Apexigen and its collaboration partners to discover and develop high-quality therapeutic antibodies against a variety of molecular targets, including targets that are difficult to drug with traditional human or mouse-based technologies. Six product candidates discovered using APXiMAB™ are currently in clinical development, either internally by Apexigen or by one of its partners.
